Ecomuseum route

The itinerary, which is articulated over about three and a half km walk from the small church of Madonna delle Grazie (1,157 m), just beyond Albaredo, up to the lower Vesenda alp, allows visitors to observe some typical places and artifacts of the peasant activity of this Orobic community, presenting them in their natural setting. The places of interest are marked by explanatory panels.
At the Vesenda alp there is a monumental silver fir tree that is 300-350 years old.

The ancient "Via Priula"

This is an ancient communication route that allowed Valtellina to become a hub of intense commercial traffic. It was built at the end of the sixteenth century to increase commercial and military traffic between Valtellina and the Brembana valley, dominated by the Republic of Venice. The route therefore allowed the Mediterranean area to be commercially connected with central Europe through the St. Marco pass.
The route today is a fascinating hiking itinerary, in some sections still well preserved.
