Events

A vital part of the ecomuseum is the intangible culture of the place, made up of traditions, customs, practices, dialect, knowledge and folklore. A folk group was born specifically from the need to preserve this heritage by collecting information, documenting it and passing it on.
There are many events and initiatives in the Albaredo valley, especially in the summer. The main festival of Albaredo is Ferragosto and S. Rocco (August 16) when the town comes alive and a string of events are organized.
One such opportunity to learn about and try typical products is the autumn event Gustosando with a tour of the ancient cellars, the historic centre and local restaurants.

Educational and training projects

The Ecomuseum organizes educational programs for schools in order to introduce its territory from a naturalistic, environmental and cultural point of view. A special project, “Schools Outdoors”, is dedicated to high school students. Children and young people are also hosted on school trips or summer camps in the ecomuseum's facilities: the holiday home, the Porta del Parco and the multipurpose center.

Experiences

The Fly Emotion experience allows visitors to experience the thrill of a two-and-a-half-minute aerial cable flight on a zipline over the Bitto Valley, with a route that connects Albaredo to San Marco and Bema.
In Albaredo you can also experience “MetaBorghi”, a journey in the metaverse from the past to today through a philological historical reconstruction in 12 stages located in the most important points of the historic center.
